Der Volksfestplatz am Mittwoch in Bruckmühl hinter dem Rathaus. Die Sonne „prahlt“ mit ihrer ganzen „Strahlkraft“. Um 14.52 Uhr zeigt das Thermometer vor dem Autoskooter stolze 27,7 Grad, um 14.57 Uhr hat es sich im Festzelt vor dem Musikerpodest auf wohlige 28,4 Grad eingependelt. Was aber ein echter „Wiesn-Gänger“ ist, der lässt sich von solchen Marginalien nicht im Geringsten beeindrucken.

So tummelten sich in den heißen Nachmittagsstunden nicht nur mehrere hundert Kids mit ihren Eltern, Tanten und Onkeln oder Omas und Opas im Schlepptau auf der Bruckmühler „Spaßmeile“ sondern auch 1390 Seniorinnen und Senioren im Festzelt.

Während sich die Youngsters beim Kinder- und Familientag zu ermäßigten Preisen austobten nahm das „ältere Semester“ ab dem 65. Lebensjahr gerne die traditionelle Einladung des SVB und der Marktgemeinde zum Festzelt-Ratsch bei einer Maß Gerstensaft samt Brotzeit an. Für die zünftige Unterhaltungs-Musi sorgte die Blaskapelle Bruckmühl mit Dirigent Michael Rokoss. Auffällig war hier die große Frauenpower an den diversen Blas-Instrumenten.

Ein großer Stimmungsmacher war wieder einmal der „Kasperle“, der mit seinem kleinen Ensemble den Kindern im Festzelt die spannende Geschichte der Gestohlenen Prinzessin“ präsentierte. Die Mädchen und Jungen folgten dem kleinen Bühnenspektakel teils mit weit aufgerissenen Mündern und Augen. Nach dem 30minütigem Bühnenspektakel mit gezählte 127 lauten und 85 Dezibel starken „Kaasssppeerrlllleeee–Rufen“, steuerten die jungen Volksfest-Kids zielstrebig mit ihren Aufpassern „im Gepäck“ die diversen Fahrgeschäfte, Wurf- und Losbuden sowie die Süßigkeitenstände an.

Während im gut temperierten Festzelt die Besucher viel mit den ausgelegten Speisenkarten wedelten, kämpften nicht nur die Bedienungen sondern vor allem auch die Stand- und Gewerbebetreibenden mit dem „Hitzefaktor“. Ab 19 Uhr sorgte dann die „Musikkapelle Vagen“ unter der Leitung von Jürgen Schubert für den großen musikalischen Wiesenrummel.
